Swedish Health Services Mammography Assistant - Mobile Clinic Registration in Seattle, Washington
Description
Are you passionate about providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience? We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Mammography Assistant for our Mobile Clinic. In this role, you will:
Collaborate with our skilled mammography technologist to ensure a smooth and efficient process for daily patient care activities
Welcome and greet patients with professionalism and friendliness, making them feel comfortable and supported
Assist patients with paperwork as needed, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately
Register patients on board our state-of-the-art mobile coaches, maintaining an organized and efficient workflow
Maintain and stock supplies , ensuring everything is readily available for patient care
Coordinate the flow of patients between the intake area and the mammography room, minimizing wait times and enhancing the patient experience
Assist patients in setting up follow-up or diagnostic appointments , providing clear instructions and support
Support the Comprehensive Breast Center during downtime by performing essential tasks such as filing, scheduling, and registering patients
Make confirmation calls for future appointments, ensuring patients are well-informed and prepared

Required Qualifications:
- Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework or certification in Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Health Unit Coordinator
6 months Related experience in a medical imaging department and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
General experience regarding medical office paperwork preferred; including billing, coding and medical terminology

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
