Swedish Health Services Senior Director of Clinic Operations - Cardiovascular Service Line in Seattle, Washington

Description

The Senior Director Clinic Operations for the Cardiovascular service line leads and supports the culture and vision of Swedish Medical Group (SMG) and oversees the patient experience in the assigned institutes/clinics. Is responsible for overall implementation of the strategic direction of the assigned area, new program development, and improving the efficiency of operations for each providers practice. Works with the physician dyad partner in areas of planning, operations, quality and safety initiatives. Ensures that all regulatory requirements are met on a timely basis and implements and leads all aspects of the medical clinic to support the initiatives of SMG. Accountable for appropriate use of electronic medical record and billing work queues. Ensures process improvement initiatives are conducted in the assigned institutes/clinics in order to deliver healthcare in the most efficient manner. Works with colleagues to create and hard wire processes that result in a smooth continuum of care for patients.

Required qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management or related field

  • 7 years experience in medical group management at a senior level (prefer multi-specialty experience). Experience in a complex healthcare delivery environment, including clinical operations, financial management, quality management, and risk making in a large medical group

  • Experience in planning and execution.

  • 7 years Practice management experience within a progressive healthcare system or commensurate education and experience

Preferred qualification:

  • Master's Degree in Health Administration or Business Administration

About the Team

Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care. Collectively, our medical groups and affiliate practices are the third largest group in the country with over 11,000 providers, 900 clinics and 30,000 caregivers.
