Providence Anesthesia Technologist Supervisor *Full-Time* in Torrance, California
Description
Anesthesia Technologist Supervisor for our Surgical Services Department at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital in Torrance, CA. This is a full-time position with a variable schedule to meet the needs of the surgery schedule.
You will be supervising your own staff as well as overseeing and precepting Anesthesia Technologist students in our newly created clinical program.
Supervises assigned staff and participates in the anesthesia operations of the perioperative units. Implements department services to meet or exceed targets for quality, productivity and budget. Provides advanced clinical expertise, supervision, consultation and support for anesthesia tech services for patients in all departments where anesthetic procedures are performed. Participates in the selection, orientation, supervision and evaluation of caregivers and assists with review and implementation of anesthesia-related disposable and equipment purchases. Coordinates and manages activities related to the anesthesia department. Leads staff development, training, new employee orientation, as well as identifies learning needs for the Anesthesia Technicians and participates in staff education. Serves as a resource to anesthesia technicians and demonstrates leadership organizational, and communication skills.

Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an anesthesia technologist program
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Upon hire: American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) certification
2 years Anesthesia technologist in an operating room of an Acute Care Hospital with demonstrated leadership skills
OR experience and knowledge of OR equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree
Previous experience in a supervisory role.
