The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for pre-analytic and post-analytic testing of blood and body fluids to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Will perform other duties as assigned. May function as the shift supervisor in the absence of the laboratory director, laboratory supervisor, or laboratory lead by aiding in the establishment of laboratory goals and objectives, supervising all aspects of the laboratory in regard to guest relations, human resource management, and quality assurance. Involves general guidance and direction by the department director and department supervisor.
The Associate Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for pre-analytic and post-analytic testing of blood and body fluids to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease; will perform other duties as assigned; involves general guidance and direction by the department director and department supervisor.
The Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for pre-analytic and post-analytic testing of blood and body fluids to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Will perform other duties as assigned. Involves general guidance and direction by the department director and department supervisor.
Medical Laboratory Scientist
Salary Range: $28.77 - $46.44
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology
National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology -OR- National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists -OR- National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts -OR- National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology -OR- National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology -OR- National Laboratory Tech - United States Government
Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification
Five (5) years of Clinical Laboratory Testing experience
One (1) year of experience in a high complexity lab
Associate Medical Laboratory Scientist
Salary Range: $25.79 - $41.02
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical or biologic science, or medical technology from accredited institution
